Protocol Education are supporting an Ofsted rated good Primary School in Wigan, situated near wiagn town centre. The school is two form entry and has a nursery attached, the school is described as a firendly school where children thrive.
We are looking to find a caring and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant in KS1. This position will work closely with the class teacher to inspire, engage and support all pupils in their learning journey.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN, as this role will be supporting a small group of children who have SEN. You must also have a good understanding of what it takes to encourage children to achieve their full potential through interactions and activities. The role involves building strong relationships with pupils, parents / carers and colleagues to ensure a positive environment, working with others will also develop your practice. You will contribute to personal development through involvement in extra-curricular activities and events, including meetings and whole school training events.
What is required for this role:
- Experience working with children.
- A CV providing education/employment history including any gaps from working.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and have the legal right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
