Job Role : Teaching Assistant

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham

Protocol education is working alongside school in Hammersmith and Fulham that takes Key Stage 3&4 students that were permanently excluded or at risk of permanently exclusion from mainstream schools.

The school is looking for mentors that can encourage the learners to engage in education and to have a positive impact by being role models for the young people.  The students have been taking parts in lots of activities across the school, including making pancakes and smoothies, to help them connecting and understand the fun parts of being in school. They have also created a youth theatre group called Intermission that helps young people to stay off the streets and turn their interest to drama.

The school is looking for people to start after the Easter holidays until the end of academic year with the opportunity to extend contract from September onwards.

The successful applicant will:

 

  • Have to be available Monday to Friday
  • Ideally to have experience in working with SEND students.
  • Have a safeguarding qualification or willing to complete a course provided for free by our company.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on Update Service, alternative willing to apply for one through us.
