Protocol Education are looking for several Teaching Assistant’s looking for on-going work in Kent. We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in all Key Stages from EYFS – KS2 to begin in September (this could be sooner, should you be available). We are looking for candidates who have previous childcare experience; preferably in schools or nurseries. 

If you have experience working with children in any capacity, then this role is for you.

The role begins on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent. Pay is dependant on experience and role requirements.

All applicants must live in and hold Right to Work in the UK.

The Role:
• As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with the class teacher and assisting with delivering the lesson
• Manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work
• De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way
• Collecting of work at the end of the lesson and returning it to the appropriate recipient

The Candidate:
• Experience working with children
• A character who truly makes a difference in the classroom and enjoys working with young people
• Excellent communication skills; verbal/written and reading comprehension
• Proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children, please note - this can be in any field

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
