Teaching Assistant

Location: Wandsworth

Hours: 8.30 – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday

Start date: Immediate start / April 2023

We are currently working with a fantastic and supportive team working at an Alternative Provision in Wandsworth who are looking for a bright, confident, engaging, and proactive TA to join their team on a long-term basis.

At the AP, the students are in KS1 – KS4. The classes are smaller so will usually have around 5-8 students per class and you will have support from other TA’s as well as the Class Teacher in the classroom. They are a very friendly, approachable, and supportive school who enjoy supporting children and young people into adult life.

The ideal candidate would already have experience working with secondary students with challenging behaviours and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), or has worked in youth clubs before or even care roles with adults. No day will be the same and this is a very rewarding role where you will be a role model to the students.

If you think this could be the role for you, then apply today for more information. Successful candidates will be contacted in 3 working days.
