Protocol Education are recruiting for a popular school in the heart of Notting Hill with a staff of highly committed and passionate teachers. They are seeking to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The role will suit someone with previous experience in the classroom, although we will also consider those with no formal teaching experience.

The position will include supporting the class teacher within curriculum lessons, reading support, helping to develop pupils’ social skills and organising teaching resources.

This role will involve contact with and responsibility for children and will amount to ‘regulated activity’.

About you...

•Experience of working with children in a secondary school or other setting

•Experience of supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)

•The ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents and staff

•Good ICT skills for word-processing, use of learning software and accessing on-line resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
