We’re working with a friendly and well-run SEND school in Tower Hamlets who are looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding, hands-on role supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH and complex learning needs.
You’ll be the calm presence in the classroom, the steady support during tricky moments, and the person pupils trust to help them feel safe, understood and ready to learn.
What your day will look like:

Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

Helping learners access lessons in a way that works for them

Using routines, patience and encouragement to build confidence

Working closely with teachers, therapists and SEN staff

Celebrating progress, big and small

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
