We are working in partnership with a well-established and inclusive primary school in Sunderland to recruit a Teaching Assistant for supply, long-term and potential permanent opportunities. The school serves a diverse local community and places strong emphasis on positive relationships, consistency and ensuring every pupil feels supported to succeed.

About the role

  • Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 or KS2

  • Working with small groups and individual pupils

  • Supporting pupils with engagement, confidence and behaviour

  • Assisting with classroom routines and transitions

  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
