This BS13 primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support phonics and early reading interventions. You’ll work with small groups and individual pupils, helping them build strong foundations in literacy within a calm, well-structured school environment.

You’ll be given clear guidance, resources, and time to focus on your interventions, with teachers who value your feedback and input.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver phonics and reading interventions

  • Support pupils who need a boost with confidence and fluency

  • Track progress and feed back to class teachers

  • Help children develop a love of reading

This role suits someone patient, encouraging, and passionate about literacy, especially within a school that prioritises early support.
