This role is all about relationships, consistency, and emotional wellbeing.

We’re working with a caring 2-form entry primary school in BS13 that places a huge emphasis on nurturing the whole child. They’re looking for a Teaching Assistant with a wellbeing or Thrive focus to support pupils who need help managing emotions, building confidence, and feeling safe in school.

You’ll work closely with class teachers and the pastoral team, supporting children who may struggle with regulation, transitions, or self-esteem. This is a school that understands behaviour is communication, and they’ll give you the support and guidance you need to do your job well.

The role includes:

  • Supporting pupils with emotional and social needs

  • Helping children regulate and re-engage with learning

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups

  • Being a calm, consistent adult pupils can trust
