If you’re looking for a school where people know your name, check in on you, and genuinely have your back, this could be a lovely next step.

We’re working with a friendly 2-form entry primary school in the BS13 area that’s known locally for its strong community feel. This is a school where staff work together, support one another, and celebrate the small wins as much as the big ones. There’s a real sense of belonging here, and it shows in both the classroom and the staffroom.

As a General Classroom Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting pupils across the school day, helping them stay engaged, confident, and on track with their learning. You’ll work closely with class teachers and other TAs, offering in-class support, helping with activities, and providing that extra encouragement children sometimes need.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Supporting learning across the classroom

  • Working with small groups or individual pupils

  • Helping to create a positive, calm learning environment

  • Being a reassuring, familiar face for pupils who need it

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and wants to be part of a school where support staff are truly valued, not overlooked.
