We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield that’s looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children across Early Years and Primary. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with younger learners and wants to play a hands-on part in their early development and learning journey.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting children in EYFS and primary classrooms, both in groups and 1:1
• Helping pupils settle into routines, develop social skills, and feel safe and supported
• Supporting early learning activities such as phonics, play-based learning, and early numeracy
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a calm, nurturing learning environment
What the school is looking for:
• A patient, kind, and reliable Teaching Assistant
• Experience working with young children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
