The Role
Are you adaptable, flexible and full of energy? We are looking for a passionate and resourceful Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming Learning Support Team within a secondary school setting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with young people and wants to make a meaningful difference to their learning and personal development. You will work creatively with students, supporting them both academically and pastorally, while building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their families.
The post is fixed term until 31 August 2026 and is subject to review based on funding.

You will also have:

Relevant experience in a similar role, with a proven track record

A good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

An NVQ Level 3 qualification for Teaching Assistants, or an equivalent qualification

At least one year of practical experience working with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
