We’re looking for a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Middlesbrough. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people succeed by providing tailored support and encouragement throughout the school day.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with additional needs through 1:1 and small group work

Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons

Adapting approaches to meet individual learning and behavioural needs

Building positive relationships that promote confidence and independence

Being a reliable, calm, and positive presence in the classroom
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting young people with SEN (essential)

Knowledge of autism, ADHD, SEMH, or related needs
-
A patient, proactive approach to learning and behaviour support
-
Flexibility and a strong team-focused attitude

Clear and confident communication skills
