Schools all over Essex are looking for Teaching Assistants to supporting students with a wide range of needs including dyslexia, autism and physical and sensory needs. The successful applicants must be highly dependable, empathetic, and have a professional outlook. There is a need to have excellent behaviour management abilities, to remain calm in difficult situations; as well as to be diplomatic, relatable, personable, and compassionate.
Do you have the following:
You must have a positive attitude towards disability and learning difficulties and sensitivity towards individual needs and be willing to undergo training as required.
You should be a good communicator and have empathy for the learners.
Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are essential and an understanding of the needs of learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. Previous classroom-based experience would be an advantage.
We are looking for individuals who can work between the hours of 8.30am - 3.30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
