The headteacher of a Primary School in Barnsley are looking to recruit several Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistants. This would be within the classroom setting so general Teaching Assistant work would be part of the daily routine as well. Learners do display challenging behaviour and therefore the school require Teaching Assistants who are trained in Team Teach to use de-escalation techniques to manage these behaviour traits.

Job Description– Team Teach – Teaching Assistant

·Full time role for the remainder of this academic year at least

·Mon to Fri - 8.20am to 3.45pm

·Working with multiple learners with ASC and SEMH support needs

Person Specification– Team Teach– Teaching Assistant

·Experience of supporting students with ASC needed – Cache L3 in Education or similar qualification

·Ability to manage challenging behaviours

·Working as a close team

·Clear and concise communication tools – written and spoken
