Our client is a Secondar Academy based near to Ely, they require a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long term full time basis with an immediate start available.
The succesful candidate will be working as a general classroom assistant as well as 1:1 with students with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy freindly team in a fantastic school on a long term basis.
Experience of working with pupils in a school based setting would be an advantage but we would also be very interested in speaking to candidates with experience in care work, youth groups, drama, sports coaching or any other experience working with young people.
If you are looking to make a first move into working within an education setting or are looking to build your experience in a secondary school with a view to applying for a PGCE in the future then this is a fantastic role to build your knowledge base. This is a friendly and welcoming school with a fantastic cohort of pupils. Your previous experience is not as important as your attitude and commitment.
Candidates will need to provide references to cover the last 2 years and hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
