Protocol Education are working on behalf of a Newham secondary school to recruit a teaching assistant. This is a full time role (term time only), until the end of the academic year (July 2023). Ideally you will be available to start immediately however the school is willing to wait until Christmas for the right candidate.

You will be required to work with pupils (aged 11-16), While no previous childcare or school experience is required you should be confident in your ability to communicate and speak to young people.

This role is ideal for recent graduates who having completed a Degree based around English or Maths, are looking to gain experience in schools prior to potentially starting a PGCE / Teach First / GTP course, or looking for a specialist and sustained TA role. You will be provided with an insight into the day to day running of an improving school, which possesses a committed and passionate teaching staff. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
