Protocol Education is looking for an experienced teaching assistant. The curriculum is centred on the needs of each individual student.

As every child matters all needs of individual students are taken into consideration and taken care of. Therefore, at Protocol, we are looking for someone who is interested in working with pupils of different ages and help towards improving emotional resilience, stability and mental health so they are better equipped.

If you have the relevant experience working previously in Primary/SEN schools, and mentoring children with special educational needs then please get in contact. If you are also an actor or actress looking for part-time work 3 - 5 days a week then we would love to have you on board!

Specific duties:

-Engaging with SEN pupils and helping them develop their skills.
-Planning and preparing engaging and interactive lessons.
-Reporting and evaluation individual student progression.
-Working alongside a wide range of SEN professionals, carers and social workers frequently.
-Good behaviour management of the classroom.

Requirements:

-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Good knowledge of severe learning difficulties.
-Ability to work both individually as well as part of a team.
-Passionate about working in SEN and confidence in providing students to work at their full potential.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS or on the update system.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
