About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher to work within a specialist alternative education setting supporting pupils with SEMH needs. The role involves delivering a personalised curriculum while supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and behaviour development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.

  • Adapt teaching to meet individual learning and emotional needs.

  • Foster positive relationships with pupils and staff.

  • Implement behaviour management strategies consistently.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress.

  • Support pupils in developing confidence and self-esteem.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Experience in SEMH, PRU or alternative provision is desirable.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Flexible, reflective and resilient approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
