We are working in partnership with a Catholic comprehensive secondary school based in Ilford who are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education to join them in September 2022 on a full time basis.

The school cater for students 11-19 and were rated Good in their latest Ofsted report. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Religious Education to join an ambitious, dynamic, forward thinking and committed school who are dedicated to changing the lives of all young people.

Teachers are expected to be excellent classroom practitioners with strong subject knowledge and a high level of emotional intelligence. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with pupils, parents and staff whilst also being able to: 

  • Demonstrate professionalism consistent with the Trust’s values: aspirational, collaborative, inclusive, innovative and responsible 
  • Contribute to extra-curricular provision offered by the department. 
  • Develop the use of technology to enhance the learning opportunities for pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
