Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging humanities lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials
- Participate in department meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Humanities or related field
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Humanities or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of effective teaching strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Proficiency in ICT and use of educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with students with SEN
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis within a secondary school setting in Yorkshire and the Humber. The teacher of humanities will be expected to adhere to the school's policies and procedures and participate in extracurricular activities as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
