A “Good” Sunderland school is working in partnership with Protocol Education to recruit an outstanding Geography teacher to start in September 2023.

The role is suitable for both experienced and ECTs qualifying in the Summer of 2023. The successful candidate will work across KS3, KS4 and perhaps elements of KS5 and should be a strong practitioner of Geography with fantastic subject knowledge who can passionately teach across the various ages and ability levels.

Learners within the school are typically motivated and behaviour is described as “good” with the general atmosphere being “warm and welcoming”. Across the curriculum, the school performs well academically and within Humanities, students are generally motivated.

The school is looking for an inspirational teacher with high expectations to join their motivated Humanities department and maintain the excellent progress that is being made within the department.

The prospective start date for this role is September 2023 and will be on an initial ongoing temporary basis however the school has advised that the opportunity may become permanent at a later date for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
