(Dependent on experience, equivalent to M1–UPS3)
Contract Type: Fixed-term, maternity cover

Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week

The opportunity
We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of English to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons and inspire a genuine love of language and literature.

About you
You will be:

A qualified teacher or hold an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Confident delivering high-quality English lessons across relevant key stages

Experienced in supporting a range of learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked after children and high-attaining students

A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, staff and families

Flexible, reflective and keen to contribute to whole-school improvement

Committed to enrichment and learning beyond the classroom

Secure in meeting the Teachers’ Standards, with the ability to make a sustained impact
