Drama Teacher – Long-Term Role
Wakefield | Starting after February half term

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield who are looking for a Drama Teacher to join them on a long-term basis from after February half term. The school values the arts, the department is supportive, and there’s a real focus on creating an inclusive, expressive learning environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire confidence and participation

  • Encouraging self-expression while maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom

  • Supporting performances, practical work, and collaborative learning

  • Working closely with colleagues to keep creativity at the heart of the curriculum

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified Drama Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching Drama in UK secondary schools

  • Someone enthusiastic, reliable, and happy to commit to a long-term role

  • A nurturing approach with strong classroom presence and organisation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
