We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school with a strong sense of community and high expectations for both pupils and staff. They’re looking for a Teacher of Design and Technology with a Textiles specialism to join their team from January or February through to the end of the academic year.
This is a school that values practical learning, realworld skills, and giving students the confidence to create, experiment, and problem-solve. The DT department is well-resourced and collaborative, with a real appetite for fresh ideas and subject passion.
What the role looks like:

Teaching Design and Technology with a clear focus on Textiles across KS3 and KS4

Planning and delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire creativity

Supporting students of mixed abilities to develop both technical skills and independence

Working closely with a supportive department and wider staff team

Qualified teachers are welcome, but the school is open-minded and happy to consider non-qualified teachers with solid subject expertise and classroom confidence
