Protocol Education are working on behalf of an esteemed school in South Shields to offer you the opportunity to support and encourage children and young people in their educational development. 

THE CANDIDATE 

  • Possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), for KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Experience teaching Business and IT in a school setting
  • Ability to work as a member of a team 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Passionate about supporting children with various abilities in a positive educational environment 
  • Can demonstrate problem-solving skills when facing challenging situations 
  • Must have, or be willing to, undergo an enhanced DBS check 
  • Committed to ensuring the safeguarding of young people 

THE ROLE 

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons according to the school’s curriculum standards
  • Adapt teaching style to students who are AEN/SEN
  • Maintaining student progress records 
  • Contribute to raising standards of student achievement
  • Provide and encourage opportunities for personal and academic growth
    • Managing student behaviour according to the school policy and reporting any issues or concerns to senior staff 
  • Maintaining a positive, encouraging and inclusive learning environment for students
