We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher for a long-term supply position in Middlesbrough. This is a full-time role with an immediate start date.

Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging art lessons to students, fostering a love and appreciation for the subject.
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to express their creativity.
- Evaluate and grade students' artwork, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Develop and implement an innovative and interactive art curriculum, aligned with educational standards and designed to inspire students.
- Organise and supervise art projects and exhibitions, showcasing the talents of our students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall art programme, contributing to a dynamic and vibrant school culture.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, although those with extensive experience teaching art will also be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A passion for art and the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field.
Experience:
Prior experience teaching art to students at the relevant level is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and mediums.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, adapting teaching methods to support all students.
- Proficiency in using art-related software and tools to enhance students' learning experience.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Art Education or a related field.
- Experience with organising art events and extracurricular activities, showcasing students' talents and promoting their artistic growth.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, collaborating with colleagues, and interacting with students and parents. Occasional participation in evening events or meetings may be required, contributing to the vibrant school community we foster.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
