Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with a variety of SEN, including autism, learning disabilities, and physical impairments.
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SEN team and other specialists.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to support students with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic support for each student.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience teaching in an SEN setting is essential.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization or experience in SEN.
- Skills: Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting the educational and personal growth of students with SEN.
- Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and flexible approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
