What you’ll be doing as a Teaching Assistant
You’ll support pupils in lessons, help with classroom routines and offer reassurance when children need a steady hand. You’ll work alongside an experienced teaching team who value collaboration and a positive, child-centred approach.
Your day-to-day as a Teaching Assistant
- Helping pupils access learning and stay engaged
- Providing one-to-one or small-group support when required
- Encouraging positive behaviour with calm, consistent guidance
- Preparing resources and supporting classroom organisation
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff
What you’ll bring to the team as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience supporting children or young people
- A warm, encouraging communication style
- Patience and resilience
- A team-focused approach
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
