Protocol Education are currently looking to register outstanding Teaching Assistants with a strong background in supporting individuals diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions for positions within a SEND school in Leeds.
The school provides a structured and supportive environment to help meet the personal and academic needs of pupils at each stage of their schooling. We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled individuals dedicated to making a real difference to young people lives, and who have good experience with autistic learners in order to support them return to education after an extended period of disruption.
The school offers a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum to boys and girls, aged 11–19 years who have a diagnosis of ASC and may also experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and other complex needs. As such, our ideal candidate should be flexible, adaptable, a good communicator, have a cheerful disposition and respond calmly under pressure.
Successful candidates will have a varied role, which involves supporting the teacher in all aspects to ensure that pupils receive the most effective support. You will be able to demonstrate a practical, hands on approach to supporting teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond.
Protocol Education adheres to the following from its Support Workers;
• A DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service or be willing to get one.
• Two professional references within the last three years.
• Someone who is committed to the safeguarding of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
