Protocol Education are looking for reliable and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within a range of schools within the Wakefield and Leeds area. If you are wanting to further develop your skillset or are looking to kickstart your career in education, then we want to hear from you!

This is an opportunity to work within a diverse and exciting community of educators who all share a passion for helping young people. You will be able to grow and develop yourself on both a personal and professional level while doing something that you love.

You will be required to assist the class teacher in supporting pupils with their learning and will work with small groups of children to help diminish learning barriers. Working closely with children with SEND will be something that you will also be required to do within this role, so some knowledge around this is preferred.

Most of our roles begin on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

  • Have a DBS on the update service/ be willing to obtain one
  • Be reliable and have good time management
  • Willingness to adapt to a range of situations
  • Positive attitude and a passion for helping young people develop
  • Some understanding of child development and the national curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
