Job Duties

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and discipline effectively
  • Communicate with school staff and parents as needed
  • Complete any required administrative tasks related to teaching assignments

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience working in a classroom setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience

Minimum of 1 year teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist subject knowledge
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions

This role involves working in various schools within the East of England. The candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to different school environments and teaching requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
