Job Description:
We are currently seeking Supply Teachers to join our team in Basildon, Essex. As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across various age groups and subjects. This role is temporary and requires full-time availability.
Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to students in line with the national curriculum
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance the learning experience
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant teaching qualification
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Degree in Education or related field
- Proven experience in teaching or working with students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience teaching in a variety of educational settings
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours on a temporary basis. The working environment will be within educational institutions in Basildon, Essex. You may be required to adapt to different classrooms and student groups regularly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
