Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of regular classroom teachers
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity in learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered
  • Collaborate with other staff members and support the overall educational goals of the school

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

Work in a school setting following the school term calendar. May require travel to different schools within the region.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
