Key Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher

Deliver engaging and creative lessons across a range of primary year groups

Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel supported

Follow school routines, policies, and lesson plans to ensure continuity of learning

Build positive relationships with pupils and staff in each setting

Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional professionalism
Key Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and confidence teaching the UK primary curriculum

Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to new school environments

Strong communication skills and effective behaviour management

A genuine passion for supporting children’s academic and personal development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
