Flexible days, meaningful impact, real support

Fancy teaching that feels purposeful, calm, and genuinely appreciated? Our SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provisions across Bristol are looking for steady, confident supply teachers who can bring a sense of calm to the classroom and help pupils who need a bit of extra understanding.

If you’re the kind of educator who can read the room, reset the tone, and build trust with pupils who don’t always find school easy, you’ll fit right in.

What your days could look like

  • Working with small groups or one-to-one pupils who need consistency

  • Creating safe routines and supportive learning spaces

  • Using your behaviour management in a way that feels human, not heavy

  • Helping pupils feel seen, heard, and valued

  • Teaching without the endless planning pressure

What you’ll get from us

  • Choose the days you work, from one to five

  • Regular bookings in supportive SEMH and alternative settings

  • Weekly pay through PAYE

  • Free access to our online CPD, including behaviour support and trauma-informed practice

  • A consultant who actually listens and won’t send you somewhere that isn’t right for you

You’ll need

  • QTS or equivalent

  • Strong, calm behaviour management and a genuine interest in SEMH

  • Flexibility and resilience

  • A willingness to work as part of a team who care deeply about their pupils

If you’re Thrive trained, brilliant. If not, we’ll get you free access to our Thrive Approach training because it genuinely helps you shine in SEMH settings.
