Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
- Provide feedback to students on their progress and achievements
- Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding student performance
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS check clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Prior experience working as a teacher in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Effective classroom management skills
- Proficient in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience teaching in a variety of age groups and subjects
Working Conditions:
- Work on a temporary basis with varying assignments
- Part-Time hours, typically during school hours
- Interact with diverse groups of students and school staff
- Adhere to school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
