Protocol Education are currently recruiting Supply & General Cover Teachers to work across St Albans and surrounding areas.
As these are cover roles only, all planning and marking will be already be completed and available for you to access prior to covering the lessons in your given timetable. This would be ideal for an experienced teacher who maybe wants to take a step out of full teaching responsibilties and take more of a cover role which can be flexible. It could also be very desirable for an ECT who is looking to gain further teaching and classroom experience before embarking on their 1st teaching role.
Protocol work with a number of schools across Hertfordshire to assist them with covering supply bookings, both in advance (pre-booked) and for last minute sickness. Supply Teaching can offer you a flexible lifestyle where you can choose the days you work, and also helps to develop experience across a number of different schools, classes and year groups.

We are looking for a:
- Qualified teacher with QTS
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Provide and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes children’s learning
- Be willing to contribute to extra-curricular activities

Successful applicants must have:
- DBS on the update service, or willing to undertake one
- Qualified Teacher Status
- A minium of two references within the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
