If you’re a subject specialist who likes a bit of variety, an experienced teacher easing your way back into the classroom, or someone craving a better work life balance, supply teaching could be just the thing your week’s been missing.
We’re working closely with a well established and inclusive secondary school in Shropshire. It’s a school with a strong sense of community and a genuine commitment to helping every student do well. The curriculum is broad and balanced across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with strong foundations in English, Maths, Science and PE, alongside a wide range of option subjects. Languages play an important role too, with French taught from Year 7 and the option to study German or Spanish from Year 8.
Learning here goes well beyond the timetable. Extra curricular opportunities are a real strength, with drama, music and sport sitting alongside regular educational visits that bring lessons to life. Extended learning is valued, not just talked about, and that positive culture really shows in the way students engage.
Pastoral care is a big focus. A dedicated pastoral team works closely with teaching staff and the SEN department to make sure pupils feel supported, included and ready to learn. As part of a wider trust, the school also benefits from strong collaboration with local primary and secondary schools, as well as close links with post 16 providers, helping a high number of students progress into further education after Year 11.
You bring your classroom confidence and subject knowledge, and we’ll handle the rest. Whether you’re after full time supply, part time flexibility, or just the odd day here and there, we’ll shape a timetable that works around you. With lessons prepared, schools fully briefed, and support just a phone call away, you can focus on teaching and enjoying your day.
