We are thrilled to be working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Brighton. The successful candidate will be able to cover KS1 and KS2 classes and can be flexible with their working days and hours.

Position: Day-to-day supply teacher

Location: Brighton  

Hours: Part time

Salary: £110 - £140 a day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to a diverse range of pupils.
  • Adapt lesson plans to meet the varying needs of pupils in mixed ability classes.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and support staff.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Provide feedback to pupils to support their academic progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching primary-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and pupil needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
