Do you have a passion for helping children with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant

Role Overview: You will be working under the direction/guidance of the class teacher/SENCO/SEN Manager, to supervise and provide support for students with SEND to enable them to learn as effectively as possible on their own and in-group situations, considering their specialist needs. You will support the students academically KS3-5  (language, reading, writing, spelling and mathematics) and encourage concentration and social skills. You will be responsible for the delivery of any special programmes &; monitor the students' progress /report.

Responsibilities: Helping Individual Students: Assist students who need extra help in class, making sure they understand their lessons and can join in activities. Working with Teachers: Work closely with teachers to create special plans for students with different needs, like learning disabilities or behavioural challenges. Dealing with Behaviour: Help students behave well in class by using special strategies to keep things calm and friendly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
