Teaching Assistant – Sports Integration & Behaviour Support
Location: South Shields area
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time + Training Days
Start: Immediate
Pay: Excellent daily rate
This role blends sport support with behaviour management. You’ll help pupils channel their energy positively, build confidence through physical activities and assist with behaviour strategies across the day.
Your role includes

Supporting PE lessons, outdoor activities and active learning

Encouraging pupils to use sport as a tool for focus and wellbeing

Helping implement behaviour strategies before, during and after activities

Supporting structured routines and transitions

Communicating progress with teachers and pastoral staff
We’re looking for

Experience in sport, youth work, coaching or active roles

Confidence in behaviour support and positive reinforcement
-
A calm, consistent and encouraging manner

A team player with great communication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
