About the Role
You’ll support teachers across a range of subjects, not just PE, helping students with their classwork, understanding instructions, and building good learning habits. Your role is all about creating a calm, positive environment where every student feels supported.
Your daily responsibilities will include:

Supporting students in lessons across KS3 and KS4

Providing one-to-one or small-group support when needed

Helping students stay engaged, organised, and confident

Assisting teachers with classroom routines and behaviour management
-
Encouraging positive attitudes towards learning

Helping create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
You’ll also have the chance to support PE lessons when required, bringing your energy and coaching experience to practical sessions.
Ideal Candidate

Degree in Sports Science, Coaching, PE or a related field

Passionate about helping young people succeed academically and personally
-
Patient, approachable, and great at building rapport
-
Confident communicating with teenagers in a professional, supportive way
-
Experience working with children or young people (coaching, mentoring, camps, youth work) is helpful but not essential
