Secondary schools across Newcastle are seeking sports coaches to work in behaviour support and engagement-focused roles during the school day.
These schools value the transferable skills sports coaches bring — leadership, structure, consistency and relationship-building — particularly for students who respond best to practical, active role models.
The role will involve:

Supporting students in lessons where engagement is a challenge

Reinforcing behaviour expectations and routines

Working alongside teachers to keep students focused and on task

Supporting PE lessons, interventions or pastoral activities where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
