This welcoming, community-focused secondary school is looking for a full-time Sports Coach to become a valued part of its PE and wider school team.

This role goes beyond running coaching sessions. You’ll often step in to cover PE lessons when qualified teachers are off site, delivering a wide range of practical activities and keeping students active, engaged, and motivated throughout the day. You’ll be trusted, supported, and very much part of the staff team, not just passing through.
What you’ll be doing

Leading and supporting practical PE lessons across a range of sports

Covering timetabled PE lessons in place of qualified teachers when needed

Running structured coaching sessions with clear routines and high expectations

Building positive relationships with students who respond best to strong role models
