Are you a recent sports graduate looking to take your first step into education? We’re working with schools in South Shields who are eager to welcome energetic, motivated Sports Graduates to support pupils both in and out of the classroom.

This role is perfect if you enjoy working with young people and want to use your skills to inspire and support them. You’ll bring enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive approach to help pupils engage with learning and develop confidence.

What the role involves:

  • Supporting pupils in lessons and during sporting activities

  • Using your sports background to encourage teamwork, discipline, and resilience

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils who need extra guidance

  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management

  • Being a positive role model both inside and outside of PE lessons

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a degree in Sports, Physical Education, or a related subject

  • Has experience working with children or young people (coaching, mentoring, or volunteering counts)

  • Is adaptable, patient, and able to build strong relationships with pupils

  • Holds a UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle (essential for this role)
