Job Title: Speech and Language - Learning Support - Secondary School

Job Duties:
- Provide speech and language support to secondary school students
- Assist students with communication difficulties in accessing the curriculum
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create individualised learning plans
- Conduct assessments to identify students' specific needs and progress
- Implement strategies to promote speech and language development
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in speech and language therapy or equivalent
- Experience working with secondary school students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Previous experience in providing speech and language support in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of speech and language development principles
- Ability to assess and create individualised support plans
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within the school environment
- Full-time hours with occasional flexibility required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
