We’re looking for compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to join SEND schools across Leeds. From autism provisions to SEMH settings and specialist developmental centres, we’ll match you with the type of environment where you can thrive. Full-time availability is essential so pupils get the consistency they deserve.

What you’ll be doing
✅ Supporting children and young people with a range of SEND needs including autism, ADHD, social and emotional challenges, physical needs and learning difficulties
✅ Providing 1:1 support or small group interventions to help pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn
✅ Creating a nurturing, calm and predictable learning environment
✅ Working closely with teachers, therapists, SENCOs and key staff to follow support plans
✅ Bringing patience, empathy and positivity into every day
What we’re looking for
Experience working with children or young people with SEND in any setting, such as schools, youth work, care, personal or voluntary roles
A calm, resilient and supportive approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
Full-time availability, reliability and a real drive to make a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
