Protocol Education is currently working with several schools across Enfield, and the surrounding areas supplying teaching assistants specifically in the field of special needs, for daily supply and short-term bookings.

We work with both state and private/independent schools and have great relationships with our clients. We are currently seeking teaching assistants who are experienced in working with children who have special needs, based in North London, who can work on a supply basis to begin ASAP.

As a teaching assistant, you will have control of your diary working on the days that you wish to work; you will be working from 8.30am - 4pm.

What you will need: 

  • Previous SEND experience is advantageous but not essential. 
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable. 
  • Ability to interact well with the children. 
  • Experience working with EYFS children 0-5years.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

There is the possibility of long term, full time work available in this role.  

 About the role:

As an SEN TA, you will be expected to support the students in small groups (2 – 3 students) or depending on the need of the child, one to one support. The students will have a structured day and you will be expected to keep records of each activity, for each child to have a record of learning progress for the day. Written feedback on their behaviour is also compulsory.
