Job Title: Spanish Teacher

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Spanish language programme
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents
  • Stay updated on advancements in language teaching methodologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Degree in Spanish or related field
  • Proven experience in teaching Spanish at the primary or secondary level

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Spanish

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish language
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience teaching Spanish as a second language

Working Conditions:

This position involves working full-time hours in a school setting, following the academic calendar. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
